Dr.-Ing. Gisbert Schulze
Dr. Gisbert Schulze holds a doctorate in mechanical engineering from TU Darmstadt and has broad international experience in industry. He began his career in aerospace, working as a project engineer on the certification of aircraft engines.
He then founded an engineering services company focused on energy, automotive and aviation, which he expanded internationally. As managing director of a medium-sized industrial automation company, he gained extensive operational experience.
As part of a management buy-in, he acquired a company in the field of drive components for wind turbines, carried out a comprehensive strategic realignment and successfully sold the company to a US group. The transaction included a carve-out, reorganization and full post-merger integration.
Today, Dr. Schulze works as an independent business angel He invests his own capital in companies and actively contributes to management through advisory board, supervisory board or coaching mandates, as well as by temporarily taking on executive management roles.
