fos4X develops fiber-optic load sensor systems for lightweight structures, particularly for wind turbine rotor blades. The company established itself globally as a technology leader in rotor blade sensor systems and serves leading wind turbine manufacturers and operators worldwide.

After eight years of involvement and several financing rounds, fos4X was fully sold to the Danish corporate group PolyTech a successful exit for all parties involved. PolyTech increases the output of wind turbines worldwide.

Bionic Robotics GmbH was a dynamic, innovation-driven company specializing in lightweight robotic systems for human-robot collaboration. As a spin-off from TU Darmstadt, founded in 2010 by Prof. Oskar von Stryk, Prof. Bernhard Möhl and Jan Röhlinger, the company pursued a bionically inspired drive concept.
